Plants release tiny pollen to fertilise other plants by which flowers and ultimately fruits produced on plants. Pollen are produced on the male plant or male part of the plant called “anthers”.
Naturally the mother cells inside plant male part divide through two processes called “meiosis” and “mitosis” to produce pollen grain which is composed of one cell that will become a pollen tube and two sperm cells.
