I think all you need to do is to plant the seeds in some moist compost and keep them in a bright and sunny spot, watering them occasionally. In a few weeks, they will sprout. I do this for my seeds at home. I don’t grow sunflowers but I have been successful with seeds for peas, carrots, tomatoes, lettuces and all sorts of flowers. Right now I’ve managed to get an avocado seed to sprout!

Get compost from a shop (maybe from poundland), prepare pot/tray giving almost 5 inches or more depth. Sow seed atleast 1 inch deep in the soil and avoid too much or too less water. just keep the soil moist and allow seed to germinate. If you face issues in germination and there is no germination after two weeks then use a tissue paper and put 5 seeds inside the tissue paper, fold the tissue and make it a little wet, place it in a place and put in a shady place covering it with another plate. It should germinate in one week and if so then move the germinated seed to an empty pot and keep watering (not too much, not too less).
