We have many different types depending on the weather and conditions in which plants live. For example you wouldn’t find a fir (Christmas-tree like) tree in the tropics because the plant is not adapted to live in very warm and humid places, but prefers colder and wetter places. Same for a cactus, it has adapted to live in dry places with little water like a desert.
